Lids Inc. is an American retailer specializing in athletic headwear. They are the leader in official sports merchandising for hats, fan gear, sports hats and apparel. The majority of stores operate in shopping malls and factory outlet centers across the United Sates.
The Project
Lids Inc. needed a floor display to launch and expand their lanyards into the retail space.
Azar Displays Solution
Azar Displays black triangle pegboard spinner display with hooks was the perfect solution. The floor display kit included the triangle pegboard spinner, item #700450-BLK with custom black corners and 4” black Lexan plastic hooks, item #800004-B. Lids needed a custom pack out of hooks per display. The black locking peg hooks with locking technology are designed to securely “snap” into the pegboard so that the hooks stay secure and do not wobble. This custom kit design worked superbly for this rollout, the lanyards were strung on each hook and organized by popular sports teams near the cash wrap for customers to choose one easily before checking out.
